Our Partner Organizations

East Beaches Regional Complex Inc. was formed as a result of many years of guidance and effort of community groups and organizations. The EBRC has evolved from the strong commitment of these Founding Member Organizations.
Each of these organizations are a part of the ongoing cooperative effort that is seeing Living360 happen.

The East Beaches Recreation & Wellness Coalition Inc.

The East Beaches Recreation and Wellness Coalition Inc. was formed in November 2002, as an outcome of a meeting of local community members who recognized the need for leadership in the matter of recreation and wellness in the East Beaches area. It was a non-profit organization with the objective of addressing health, wellness and recreation issues for the community. The EBRWC disolved in 2014 and transfered its assets to East Beaches Regional Complex Inc.

The Grand Beach & Area Development Corporation Inc.

The Grand Beach & Area Development Corporation is a body of concerned citizens, both corporate and private, from the Grand Beach, Grand Marais and surrounding East Beaches area who are determined to improve the quality of life and increase opportunities through responsible economic development and preservation of our natural and cultural resources and heritage.

The Grand Marais & District Senior Citizens Inc.

The Grand Marais & District Senior Citizens Inc. was formed to provide social, community, and wellness opportunities for senior citizens in the Grand Marais area. The organization participates, helps facilitate and organizes many community events. The group has become a "spokesperson" for seniors in the area.

The Grand Marais Recreational Association Inc.

The Grand Marais Recreational Association Inc.created and maintains the Grand Marais Recreational Centre including a hall, curling rink and outdoor skating rink. The organization is a hub for most of the public events in the Grand Marais area.

The Rural Municipality of St. Clements

The Rural Municipality of St. Clements is one of the fastest growing municipalities in Manitoba. The municipality’s western boundary runs along the Red River and Lake Winnipeg – from south of Lockport, then northward to Grand Beach Provincial Park. Eastward, the boundary is irregular and sits adjacent to other municipalities such as Alexander and Pine Falls/Powerview.

The Rural Municipality of Alexander

The LGD of Alexander, an area comprised of approximately 600 square miles, was incorporated under the “Local Government Districts Act” by Order-in-Council No. 1008/44 on December 28, 1944 and became effective January 1, 1945. The Local Government District of Alexander has grown to become one of the largest Districts in Manitoba.
